Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation to sponsor the Asian Surfing Champion Maldives

MALDIVES, 2014-7-11 — /Travel PR News/ — Maldives Marketing & PR Corporation (MMPRC) today signed the agreement as the main sponsor for Asian Surfing Champion Maldives. The agreement was signed between Asian Surfing Championship (ASC), Maldives Body Boarding Association (MBBA) and MMPRC to hold the event in Maldives. The first ASC Maldives Open event will be held in September 2014 at Adaaran Hudhuranfushi (Lohis Point).

This is an ASC Grade 3 event and will showcase talented surfers from Asia. The 3 main categories of the competition are Mens Open, Womens Open and Bodyboarding Open.

This is the third international surfing event that would be taking place in the Maldives after O’Neill and Sri Lankan Airlines Pro Surfing Event. The event would further put the Maldives as a sought after surf destination in the global arena.
