(NEWS) MADRID, 2025-Nov-4 — /Travel PR News/ — Amadeus is strengthening its position at the center of global air travel innovation, forging a series of new partnerships that are reshaping how airlines distribute flights, engage with travelers, and modernize their digital operations. From Saudi Arabia to Europe, Africa, and the Americas, carriers are turning to the technology provider to simplify booking processes, increase global reach, and offer more flexible travel experiences.
In Saudi Arabia, fast-growing low-cost carrier flyadeal has become the latest airline to join Amadeus’ network. The partnership gives travel agents worldwide direct access to flyadeal’s expanding inventory — more than 200 daily flights to over 30 destinations — through the Amadeus platform. Initially launching in the domestic market and expanding internationally in phases, the agreement marks a significant milestone for the airline’s global distribution strategy.
“Signing up with Amadeus is a historic step for flyadeal,” said Steven Greenway, Chief Executive Officer of the airline. “Our business has evolved into more partnerships, including travel agencies, which we see as a vital part of our growth story to complement our own direct booking channels.”
Amadeus already supports more than 170 low-cost and hybrid carriers, giving its network of travel agents access to a broad mix of options worldwide. “Amadeus is a key stakeholder within the Middle East travel ecosystem, and this preferred global distribution agreement reflects our commitment to supporting flyadeal’s growth ambitions,” said Maher Koubaa, Executive Vice President, Travel Unit and Managing Director EMEA at Amadeus.
The Saudi partnership is one of several recent collaborations reinforcing Amadeus’ global footprint. In Europe, Luxembourg’s Luxair has renewed and expanded its agreement with Amadeus to integrate advanced passenger service tools, including self-rebooking and dynamic pricing solutions that improve traveler autonomy and airline efficiency. Meanwhile, the Kingdom’s flag carrier Saudia has become one of the world’s first airlines to transition from traditional ticketing systems to Amadeus’ unified “Order” records — giving the carrier a complete, real-time view of each traveler’s purchases and preferences.
Across the Atlantic, Frontier Airlines and Viva are using Amadeus’ New Distribution Capability (NDC) technology to give customers greater personalization when booking flights, while Kenya Airways has become the first sub-Saharan African airline to distribute NDC-sourced content through the Amadeus Travel Platform.
Together, these moves highlight how the global aviation industry is accelerating toward modern retailing and more integrated distribution systems. For airlines like flyadeal, these partnerships are also essential to achieving national and regional goals such as Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to position the Kingdom as a leading international travel hub.
As Amadeus deepens its collaborations across continents, one thing is clear: the future of travel distribution will rely on partnerships that combine technology, flexibility, and accessibility — giving both airlines and travelers more control than ever before.
