Macao, China, 2018-Sep-26 — /Travel PR News/ — The Macao Tourism Data plus (“MTD plus”), an online platform of the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) to indicate local tourism statistics, debuts a new spectrum of statistics, namely the Golden Week Statistics and the provisional statistical data during the Golden Weeks, to familiarize the public with the trends of visitations to Macao during these periods.
Launching the “MTD plus” in 2015, MGTO has kept upgrading the platform through additions of new statistical indicators, multi-language options and subscription service among other features. With growing public attention to local tourism trends especially about visitations to the city during the Golden Weeks, the platform now provides a new spectrum of statistics for users.
The new statistical indicators are as follows:
The “MTD plus” is equipped with an array of features including interactive data, visitor source markets, E-publications, tourism statistics tables, other tourism statistics, a tourism situation video as well as the newly-launched Golden Week Statistics. The provisional Golden Week Statistics are available only during the Golden Weeks.
Looking forward, MGTO will keep optimizing the features of the “MTD plus” with regard to feedback from users and industry operators, enabling users to conveniently delve into a wider range of local tourism statistics. Users from different circles are welcome to access the “MTD plus” website: http://dataplus.macaotourism.gov.mo/?lang=E
MGTO will continue to uphold the principle of information transparency and resource sharing, actively pushing forward electronic administration and information transparency in parallel with the development strategy of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government to transform Macao into a smart city.
