Kuredu Island Resort & Spa, Maldives, was recently recognized by TUI Germany as the “Best Hotel Long Haul” and been awarded a TUI Holly Award

2012-11-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Kuredu Island Resort & Spa, Maldives, was recently recognized by TUI Germany as the “Best Hotel Long Haul” and been awarded a TUI Holly Award.  This is a very prestigious award that TUI gives out every year to 100 of their 8,000 supplier resorts and hotels.  The Award is based on guest satisfaction levels gauged from feedback received from over ½ million German tourists. This recognition shows that the collaboration between the Resort and the Tour Operator is very important and working together will create an advantage for all parties and ultimately the Resort guests.

Kuredu recently welcomed Dr. Oliver Dorschuck, Chief Operational Officer, TUI Germany, together with his team from Hanover, Germany, to hand over the Holly Award in person at the Resort.

Dr. Dorschuck stated that “the Holly Award is the Oscar of the hotel and tourism industry” and he was very pleased to hand it to Director Mats Petre and General Manager Ken Flockhart.

Ken Flockhart said “we are extremely proud of this achievement since it is an award that recognizes the excellent dedication to guest satisfaction demonstrated by every individual Team Member working on our beautiful island paradise. We extend a great thank you to TUI Germany, Kuredu’s staff, our partners and all of our guests”.
