Travelers will Leave from One Terminal and Return to Another
Kansas City, MO, 2019-Aug-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Kansas City air travelers take note: Alaska Airlines and Allegiant will swap terminals and gates at Kansas City International Airport overnight on Monday, August 26 and begin operating in their new locations Tuesday, August 27. Alaska will move to Terminal C, Gate 78 and Allegiant will move to Terminal B, Gate 52. The move is to right-size the space and infrastructure allocated to the airlines.
Short term, the change only affects Alaska customers, as Allegiant is on its summer hiatus in Kansas City until October.
Alaska Airlines customers who depart Kansas City prior to end of day August 26 should be aware that they will return to Terminal C. Alaska Airlines travelers should notify anyone meeting them of this change. If these travelers have parked in Garage and Circle lots they should use the free Red Bus to return to their vehicles near the other terminal. Economy Parking Lot users should inform their driver of their airline in order to be taken to the transfer station within the Economy Parking Lot.
Travelers are strongly urged to check FlyKCI.com and the airlines’ web sites for up-to-date flight and gate information at AlaskaAir.com and AllegiantAir.com before arriving at the airport.
