Julien Surget joins The Hay-Adams as Director of Food & Beverage

WASHINGTON, D.C., 2014-2-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Hay-Adams, one of the world’s leading luxury hotels, is pleased to announce that Julien Surget has joined the team as Director of Food & Beverage. In this role, the international hospitality professional will oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s food and beverage division, as well as participate in the hotel’s continued success through promotional events, community outreach, and enrichment of The Hay-Adams’ dining experiences in general in the Washington, DC market and beyond.

Surget comes to The Hay-Adams from Miami where he was Director of Food & Beverage for Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach, a five-star luxury beachfront resort, internationally acclaimed as one of the best in the country. During Surget’s tenure at Acqualina, the resort received the Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Award, a recertification of the AAA 5 Diamond Award, and a Leading Hotels of the World LQA Regional Quality Award.

Previously, Surget held senior management roles at Bucuti Beach Resort in Aruba, The Mayfair Hotel and Spa in Miami, and The Ritz-Carlton Club in Abaco, Bahamas. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant and Hospitality from the Ecole Hoteliere de Lausanne in Switzerland, where he grew up.
