JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” posted its traffic and capacity figures for June and H1 2013

Moscow, 2013-07-25 — /travelprnews.com/ —  JSC “Aeroflot – Russian Airlines” summed up traffic and capacity statistics for June and 6 months of 2013.

In June 2013passenger traffic increased by 19.8% against the same period in 2012 and totaled 1,922.9 ths passengers. International passenger traffic rose by 12.4% (+122.2 ths passengers) reaching 1,106.9 ths passengers. The number of passengers served on domestic lines was 816.0 ths which is 31.5% more (+195.4 ths passengers) compared to the result of June 2012.

Seat load factor in June 2013 rose by 1.5 p.p. compared to 2012 and reached 79.9%.

Revenue load factor amounted to 64.3% which is 1.3 p.p. higher than the result of June 2012.

Passenger turnover of the company went up by 20.6% against the same period in 2012 and reached 5,386.9 mln passenger-kilometers. International passenger turnover totaled 3,507.3 mln passenger-kilometers which is 14.6% more compared to the same period of 2012. The domestic passenger turnover increased by 33.5% against June 2012 and amounted to 1,879.6 mln passenger-kilometers.

The results for 6 months of 2013 show that the number of carried passengers increased by 20.2% (+1,603.2 ths passengers) to become 9,541.6 ths passengers. The seat load factor totaled 77.1%, exceeding the result of the corresponding period of 2012 by 2.3 p.p. Passenger turnover of Aeroflot was 27,774.4 mln passenger-kilometers, which represents 22.8% (+ 5,155.4 mln pkm) increase compared with the results for 6 months of 2012.
