(PRESS RELEASE) SINGAPORE, 2026-Feb-27 — /Travel PR News/ — Jewel Changi Airport has announced the winners of its first Jewel Fans’ Favourites Awards, recognizing the retail and dining concepts most appreciated by visitors and highlighting the strong appeal of both local Singapore brands and international names. The results, based on a month-long public voting campaign that attracted thousands of participants, reflect Jewel’s role as a lifestyle destination that blends global brands with local offerings.

Singapore-based brands achieved notable success across multiple categories, winning five of the fourteen awards. Botanical gelato brand Birds of Paradise secured two awards, including Homegrown Brand in the food and beverage category and Order & Go. Fashion retailer Charles & Keith was selected as the favourite Homegrown Brand in retail, while Fish & Co., which opened at Jewel in May 2025, was named F&B Newcomer of the year. Nearly half of Jewel’s approximately 260 tenants are Singapore-based companies, demonstrating the destination’s emphasis on supporting local brands and presenting them to an international audience.
The Charles & Keith store in Jewel is one of the brand’s three global flagships and its only one in Singapore.
Several brands that recently expanded their presence at Jewel also featured prominently among the winners. adidas received recognition in the Athleisure category and for New Concept experiences following the opening of a larger duplex flagship store in 2025. Ya Kun Kaya Toast was voted favourite for Local and Regional Delights after expanding its outlet to meet growing demand from visitors.
International and regional concepts also attracted strong support. Bornean restaurant KANTIN was recognised for the best in-store dining experience, while well-known dining brands such as Din Tai Fung, Sushiro and McDonald’s were selected as preferred destinations for global cuisine. Major retail brands including Apple, Uniqlo and Don Don Donki were also named favourites in their respective categories.
The awards follow a year of continued growth for Jewel, which recorded more than 81 million visitors in 2025, matching the strong performance achieved in the previous year. During the year, Jewel introduced 73 new retail and dining concepts, including more than 20 brands making their debut in Singapore. New additions included concepts such as Gwangjang GAON, sportswear brand On and The Coach Restaurant, alongside approximately 70 event pop-ups held throughout the year.
Recent openings such as Lotteria and The Gundam Base further contribute to the evolving mix of brands and experiences, reinforcing Jewel’s position as a major retail and lifestyle destination connected to Changi Airport.
To celebrate the award winners, visitors who spend at participating stores can redeem promotional rewards, including shopping and attraction vouchers and a limited-edition reusable bag designed in collaboration with the Metta Welfare Association. The promotion runs from late February through mid-March 2026.
