JetBlue Master Executive Council of the Air Line Pilots Association elects new officers

BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, 2019-Sep-19 — /Travel PR News/ — This week, the JetBlue Master Executive Council (MEC) of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA) elected new officers to lead the more than 4,000 JetBlue pilots.

The voting members of the JetBlue MEC elected Capt. Chris Kenney, chairman; Capt. Wayne Scales, vice chairman; and Capt. John Costello, secretary-treasurer to two-year terms starting on November 1, 2019.

Capt. Chris Kenney

Capt. Kenney was elected as MEC chairman. Based in Boston, he has been with JetBlue since 2005. He previously served as a local council representative as well as on many committees, including as chairman of Contract Compliance. Prior to joining JetBlue, he flew for Air Wisconsin, Big Sky Airlines, and Bighorn Airways.

Capt. Wayne Scales

Capt. Scales was elected as MEC vice chairman after previously serving as chairman of the Communications Committee. He joined JetBlue in 2013 after tenures at Trans States and Virgin America.

Capt. John Costello

Capt. Costello was elected MEC secretary-treasurer. He has been with JetBlue since 2006 and has previously served as secretary-treasurer and representative for his local council.
