Jet Aviation to implement Jeppesen Operator software across its U.S. operations

Basel, Switzerland, 2019-May-24 — /Travel PR News/ — Jet Aviation signed an agreement to implement Jeppesen Operator software across its U.S. operations. The advanced technology platform offers comprehensive international trip support and flight planning services and data intelligence through a centralized web portal, eliminating the need to out-source these services. Roll out will commence immediately.

“In response to customer and employee feedback we began looking for a more robust International Operations (iOps) solution to help maximize efficiencies across our flight services department,” said Don Haloburdo, Vice President Flight Services. “Following a rigorous market analysis, we selected the Jeppesen Operator technology platform to automate and simplify our trip support and flight planning services.”

Offering enhanced operational flexibility and innovative market-leading packages for the entire range of trip services, Jeppesen Operator supports ground handling setup arrangements; slot, hotel, catering, transportation reservations; notifications, permits and PPRs; customs, immigration and eAPIS assistance; Jeppesen flight planning, weather and NOTAMs.

“We are investing in the Jeppesen Operator platform to ensure our customers and flight crews have every possible advantage in terms of safety, convenience and efficiency,” said Dave Paddock, who becomes president of Jet Aviation July 1 after serving four years as senior vice president and general manager Regional Operations USA. “Jet Aviation manages nearly 300 business aircraft globally and we are pleased to expand our technology portfolio with Jeppesen.”

Jet Aviation has an in-house International Operations (IOPs) department, including an experienced team of 14 FAA-certified dispatchers that will utilize the Jeppesen Operator software application with the sole purpose of supporting customers with superior 24/7/365 service. Stephen Tafel has been appointed to spearhead the organization and is supported by a committed team that has been providing these services in support of the Jet Aviation US managed fleet for many years.
