(IN SHORT) A month after its launch, Blue Islands’ twice-weekly direct flights between Jersey and Paris Charles de Gaulle have proven highly popular. The service, which runs every Monday and Thursday through 30 October 2025, has attracted strong demand from islanders seeking art, shopping, and family outings in Paris, as well as French travelers discovering Jersey. Blue Islands CEO Rob Veron highlighted the route’s economic and cultural benefits, noting that 23% of passengers originate in Paris. Ports of Jersey CEO Matt Thomas underscored the addition’s impact on European connectivity, bringing Jersey Airport’s total direct European destinations to fifteen this year. The link also enables smooth onward travel via CDG’s extensive international network.

(PRESS RELEASE) FOREST, Guernsey, 2025-Jun-30 — /Travel PR News/ — Blue Islands celebrated the successful introduction of its twice-weekly direct link between Jersey and Paris Charles de Gaulle, which launched just one month ago amid enthusiastic uptake from both islanders and international visitors.

“Whether you’re indulging in a weekend of art galleries, sampling cafés, or taking the family to Disneyland Paris, you can now depart directly from Jersey,” remarked Rob Veron, CEO of Blue Islands. “This new connection not only enriches Jersey’s tourism offering but also strengthens our longstanding cultural and commercial relationship with France. We’re delighted to see that nearly a quarter of our passengers—23%—are traveling from Paris, and we expect that figure to climb as our promotional campaigns gain traction in the French market.”

Operating every Monday and Thursday until 30 October 2025, the twice-weekly service represents a major enhancement to Jersey’s air links with continental Europe. Guests on the inaugural flight received a special gate-side send-off at Jersey Airport, with representatives from Ports of Jersey and Visit Jersey present to mark the occasion.

Matt Thomas, CEO of Ports of Jersey, added: “We’re thrilled to welcome Blue Islands’ new Paris service. This milestone elevates Jersey’s European connectivity, granting islanders swift access to one of Europe’s most captivating cities. With this route, Jersey Airport now offers direct flights to fifteen European destinations in 2025. We look forward to seeing both locals and our French neighbors taking advantage of this convenient link.”

Beyond leisure travel, Charles de Gaulle’s status as a global hub affords passengers seamless onward connections across Europe and worldwide, further expanding travel possibilities for Jersey residents and visitors alike.
