Berlin, Germany, 2020-Mar-05 — /Travel PR News/ — Despite the cancellation of ITB exhibitors at ITB Berlin 2020 can publicise and promote their travel industry events in Berlin at www.itb-berlin.de/events free of charge or share information on social media under the hashtag #whatwewantedtosayatITBBerlin20
A chance to communicate the events scheduled for Berlin at www.itb-berlin.com. Now that, unfortunately, due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) ITB Berlin 2020 has had to be cancelled in its customary form, the World’s Largest Travel Trade Show is continuing to provide an important platform by offering analogue and digital services. All exhibitors at ITB Berlin 2020 currently have the option of communicating the events they have scheduled for their customers outside the exhibition grounds this week by publicising them under www.itb-berlin.de/en/Visitors/Events/. A first batch of events is already online. They include the Hotel Technology Forum on Tuesday, 3 March and Thursday, 5 March at Hotel i31. The Africa Meeting 2020, in the shape of an alternative forum with several African incoming travel agencies and European tour operators, is taking place on Wednesday, 4 and Thursday, 5 March at GLS Campus Berlin. Also on Thursday, 5 March, the Association of Event Organisers (VDVO) is inviting the meeting and event industry to the International Club Berlin. Instead of the originally scheduled ITB MICE Night, the VDVO is hosting a dialogue format on the current situation and the challenges facing the industry due to the coronavirus.
Interested exhibitors are welcome to email traveleventsberlin@messe-berlin.de with the following information on their event:
– Title of the event
– Name of the organiser
– Date and time of the event
– Venue
– Brief description of the event (max. 1,000 characters)
– Contact for inquiries (name, email, if possible mobile phone number).
Events outside Berlin, digital events and messages by individuals or companies requesting meetings will not be publicised.
Furthermore, exhibitors can share information on their new products which they had intended to announce to the industry at ITB Berlin 2020 on Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook or Twitter under the hashtag #whatwewantedtosayatITBBerlin20 at any time.
