The Timeshifter app, based on circadian science, provides personalized jetlag mitigation plans. Complementing this, InterContinental has introduced restorative guest rooms designed by Isabelle Sjövall and nutritionally rich dining menus to combat travel fatigue. These initiatives aim to ensure guests feel replenished and energized. The Timeshifter app, grounded in the latest circadian science, creates personalized plans to mitigate jetlag based on each guest’s sleep patterns, travel itinerary, and preferences. This technology, used by astronauts and elite athletes, aims to ensure guests perform at their best, whether on a business trip or a multi-city journey.
Complementing this, InterContinental has introduced restorative guest rooms designed by neuroscience-based designer Isabelle Sjövall and a menu of nutritionally rich dishes to holistically combat travel fatigue. These initiatives are available at over 220 InterContinental properties worldwide, ensuring guests feel replenished, restored, and reenergized.

Isabelle Sjövall’s room designs incorporate elements like tones, textures, lighting, and biophilia to help guests find rest and rejuvenation. InterContinental guests receive complimentary access to Timeshifter’s jetlag plans, developed with leading scientists in sleep and circadian neuroscience.
