Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2021-Sep-21 — /Travel PR News/ — IntercityHotel has won top marks in the “Customers Recommend” Rankings, which are run by the analysis firm ServiceValue and the consumer organisation DEUTSCHLAND TEST. The company was crowned best in branch after emerging with the highest score in the “Midscale Hotels” category and received a further distinction by being named “Most Highly Recommended”.
“We are very pleased to have secured this ‘Most Highly Recommended’ accolade and are delighted with all the positive feedback that our guests have provided,” stated Christian Kaschner, Managing Director of IntercityHotel GmbH. “Such an award represents a reward for the superb efforts of our staff and is also testament to the IntercityHotel concept, which aims to deliver comfortably equipped rooms, modern design and the best possible accessibility. IntercityHotel offers high quality accommodation for business travellers with meetings to attend and for leisure visitors seeking to enjoy cultural trips and city explorations. Guests also benefit from a “FreeCityTicket” scheme, which enables them to use local public transport free of charge. This award shows that we are very much in tune with the times and with the needs of modern travellers.”
ServiceValue joined forces with DEUTSCHLAND TEST in order to conduct the “Customers Recommend” study. The aim was to find out which companies were most likely to be recommended by the consumers using them. Rankings were arrived at by asking over 530,000 customers for their verdicts on 1,559 companies in 134 sectors. A “recommendation score” (RS) of between 0 and 100 was calculated for each company in order to make the results easily quantifiable. A “Highly Recommended” award was conferred on companies achieving an RS that was above average for their branch. The “Most Highly Recommended” distinction was only awarded to overall sector winners.
