IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd now can be booked online with immediate effect

Frankfurt am Main, Germany, 2018-Aug-20 — /Travel PR News/ — IntercityHotel is getting its new flagship earlier than expected. A building currently under development on the South side of Frankfurt Central Station will boast 414 rooms, making it the largest property to operate under the brand name. The team at the hotel is delighted that it will be now able to receive guests from 1 December 2018 instead of from the first quarter of 2019 as originally planned. Rooms can be booked online with immediate effect.

“It’s always a special day for us when we are able to open a new hotel,“ said Joachim Marusczyk, Managing Director of IntercityHotel GmbH. “The fact that we will be able to put the IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd into operation ahead of schedule on 1 December 2018 is a source of particular pride.”

Like all the brand’s new properties, the IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd will bear the interior design signature of the Italian architect Matteo Thun. Living trees and a wall planted with moss in the hall of the entrance area will ensure plenty of fresh air, whilst ivy in the inner courtyard will enhance the natural experience. The jointly developed concept will also be implemented in the rooms, restaurant and conference area.

The hotel will offer six combinable conference rooms with a total area of 190 square metres as well as a restaurant and a bar.

Its central location will provide excellent links to mainline trains and long distance bus services and will enable easy access to regional and local public transport. As is the case with all IntercityHotels, guests will enjoy free use of the latter thanks to the FreeCityTicket which is included in the room price. Frankfurt’s Trade Fair Centre and airport can both be reached by suburban railway in a mere matter of minutes. This makes the hotel attractive to leisure and business travellers alike. The IntercityHotel app allows guests to check in, check out and open the door to their room via smart phone. The hotel will be operated within the scope of a lease agreement. The property owner is CA Immo Deutschland GmbH.

The IntercityHotel Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof Süd forms a major component of the urban development plan for the area extending along the South side of Frankfurt Station. A webcam installed to document the progress of the construction shows that work is continuing apace at Mannheimer Straße 21.
