Iconic Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre Completes $18 Million Transformation

DALLAS, Texas, 2012-07-31 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre has recently completed a full transformation project consisting of the entire lobby, guest rooms, Lincoln ballroom and Lakeview room. All renovations were complete on July 1. The renovation is part of a larger scope of major projects by individual hotels above standard annual capital expenditures across the global portfolio of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, the flagship brand of Hilton Worldwide. Beginning in 2011, the projects currently total more than $3 billion during a three year period.

“‘North Dallas is a premier address and we wanted our new guest rooms to capture a very residential feel with a collection of furniture styles and finishes,” said Michael McGilligan, general manager, Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre. “The hotel interior reflects the beautiful façade of the building by incorporating reflective materials and soothing colors,” McGilligan said. “Lastly, the artwork from local artist Georgia Clarke, features unique sepia tone photographs of the Dallas Botanical Gardens.”

The multi-million dollar rejuvenation project encompassed all 500 guest rooms, including 18 luxury suites and four executive levels. “The idea was to create a classic, sophisticated, functional and inviting feel for all of our guests,” McGilligan said. “Our main objective was to produce a renovation that would deliver an enhanced hotel experience for both our leisure and business traveler.”

The 10,000 square-foot Lincoln Ballroom was also transformed with new wall coverings, air walls, and flooring. It can be divided into eight sections and features high ceilings with new large drum chandeliers. Versatile breakout space available directly across and above the ballroom provides easy flow for any event. The pre-function space is ideal for corporate gatherings, weddings and social events. The hotel also upgraded to state of the art internet, and audio visual technology.

The lobby was transformed with bold contemporary furnishings and artwork. It also features light tile flooring, a plasma media wall and a serene water feature leading to the hotel’s four acre lake. The addition of the hip and sophisticated HBar creates a vibrant atmosphere where you can stay connected while enjoying regional tapas style appetizers and specialty drinks. The complimentary shuttle service provides transportation within a three mile radius including the prestigious Galleria Mall and Restaurant Row in Addison.
