Luis Gallego, the Iberia’s chairman and CEO, and Aurelio Vázquez, European chief of the Iberostar Group, signed the collaboration agreement this afternoon at Fitur, Madrid Tourism fair.
Under the agreement, the 5.5 million member of the Iberia Plus royalty programme can earn and redeem Avios and obtain special advantages when they stay in Iberostar Hotels anywhere in the world
Gallego commented that ‘we are very happy to have such a prestigious and fast-growing hotel chain as Iberostar amongst our loyalty programme partners. Our cooperation will surely benefit both sides, but most especially our respective customers’.
Aurelio Vázquez said that ‘Iberostar’s joining the Iberia Plus programme is without a doubt a very positive step for our company, and we are confident that it will be very well-received by our customers and by Iberia Plus cardholders, who can now earn and redeem Avios in all of our establishments around the world.’
