Madrid, Spain, 2014-2-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Iberia Maintenance is to provide maintenance services for components of Airbus A320s and A330s aircraft.
Under a renewable agreement, the Iberia’s Maintenance Division in Madrid will inspect and repair components of the two aircraft models, covered by client support agreements with Airbus, such as FHS (Flight Hour Services).
The maintenance tasks will be carried out in the Iberia maintenance facilities in Madrid that include 18 specialised workshops for repairing or replacing instruments, parts, and accessories for the Airbus A320, A330, and A340 aircraft families.
This deal is Iberia Maintenance’s first contract with an aircraft manufacturer, but the Spanish company is experienced in maintaining aircraft components for airlines such as Iberia Express, Vueling, Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum, Onur Air, Tarom, Atlas Jet, Swiftair, Rwandair, Garuda Indonesia and several other customers.
Iberia Maintenance is in charge of inspecting and repairing airframes, engines, and parts for all aircraft in the Iberia group fleets and those of nearly 100 outside clients from all over the world.
