MADRID, 2015-3-20 — /Travel PR News/ — As of 29 March, Iberia Group airlines will strengthen flight operations to Germany, adding Hamburg to the existing six German destinations with four flights per week, while also increasing frequencies from Madrid to Berlin, Dusseldorf and Frankfurt.
Iberia Express will operate Madrid-Berlin 14 flights per week instead of the current 11 frequencies.
Two additional Madrid-Dusseldorf flights will bring the total from 19 to 21 per week, of which Iberia will operate one flight daily and Iberia Express two every day. The weekly total of flights to Frankfurt will rise from 18 to 21 per week –three each day—all operated by Iberia.
Iberia now operates 150 flights per week from Madrid to Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hannover, Munich, and Stuttgart. With the additional destination and frequencies, the Iberia Group will offer about 1,550,000 seats between Spain and Germany this year, a 32% increase from 2014. The number of passengers carried on these Iberia routes climbed by 31.7% last year.
