Madrid, Spain, 2014-12-15 — /Travel PR News/ — Iberia and Meridiana have extended their code-share agreement to cover the Madrid-Naples route that the Italian carrier has just launched.
The schedule of four weekly flights operated by Meridiana between the Spanish capital and Naples, enables passengers to fly to other destinations – through Naples to Meridiana domestic destinations and via Madrid to 62 cities in Iberia’s network.
Cardholders of both Iberia Plus and Meridiana Club programmes can redeem Avios, when flying with either carrier.
“Meridiana has been our partner for many years and we are glad to be able to extend our code-share agreement with the Italian airline to Naples, which adds a new destination to our network in Italy” – says Neil Chernoff, Director of Network Development and Alliances of Iberia.
“We believe that the cooperation with Iberia on this new, unique route will definitely be another success story. Thanks to the extensive network of Iberia, our customers departing from Naples will be able to discover new travel opportunities to great destinations”, commented Mr. Andrea Andorno, Meridiana Chief Commercial Officer.
