HSMAI announces organizational membership option to become available in 2018

McLean, VA, 2017-Nov-30 — /Travel PR News/ — The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), which is celebrating 90 years of fueling sales, inspiring marketing, and optimizing revenue, announces that an organizational membership option will become available in 2018. It will allow hotel companies, ownership groups, hotel management companies, and partner companies to be HSMAI Americas members.

With organizational membership, the company will be the HSMAI member, and multiple corporate employees will have access to a wide-range of unique member benefits. There are several levels of membership for companies, based on their company size.

Most unique and valuable for organizational members is the opportunity for corporate representatives to engage face-to-face and virtually with their peers from other organizational members.

“Organizational membership in HSMAI is a singular opportunity to connect with contemporaries around emerging issues and growing trends across hotel sales, marketing, and revenue management,” said HSMAI President & CEO Robert A. Gilbert, CHME, CHBA. “The result is invaluable insights that can help representatives and their companies lead through the most critical business concerns that hotels are, and will be, dealing with.”

HSMAI will continue to offer membership to Individuals with exclusive benefits such as chapter membership; discounts to events, publications, and certification; leadership opportunities; access to original content through the online Knowledge Center and Insights newsletter; business leads; local to global networking opportunities, and more.

Leading hotel and partner companies and universities have already committed to organizational membership including, Accor, Best Western, Booking.com, Cornell University, Expedia, Google, Hilton, Host Hotels, Hyatt, IHG, Johnson & Wales University, Loews, Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Marriott, MGM Resorts, Milestone, Omni, Penn State University, Preferred Hotel Group, Red Roof, RLHC, University of Nevada Las Vegas, and Wyndham. Additional companies will be confirmed before year end.

A keystone benefit of organizational membership will be participation in Curate: An HSMAI Executive Insights Forum. In 2018, the HSMAI Americas Region will host two Curate events with senior industry leadership representing the disciplines of sales, marketing and revenue management. These events are specifically designed to identify issues and trends that are the most critical issues for hospitality companies. Attendance at Curate is limited to delegates from companies who are organizational members.
