Holiday Entertainment Continues this Week at Chicago’s Airports

CHICAGO, 2012-12-11 — /travelprnews.com/ — Fun and festive holiday entertainment will continue this week for travelers at O’Hare and Midway International Airports as part of the Chicago Department of Aviation’s “Music in the Air” program.

This week’s entertainment schedule is:
Toronzo Cannon & the Cannonball Express perform at O’Hare Terminal 1 on December 7, 2012.Monday, December 10, 2012 – Blues and Jazz bands
O’Hare – 2 to 5 p.m.

• Terminal 1 – Maurice John Vaughn Band
• Terminal 2 – Chicago Samba
• Terminal 3 – The Elements of Sound
• Terminal 5 – Return II Soul

O’Hare- 2 to 5 p.m.

• Terminal 1 – Phil Passen Trio
• Terminal 2 – Michael Charles Band
• Terminal 3 – Vino Louden Band
• Terminal 5 – Sam Cockrell Band

• Terminal 1 – Chi-Town Sound
• Terminal 2 – Frozen Robins
• Terminal 3 – PipeDreams
• Terminal 5 – Midwest Crossroads

Midway – 2 to 5 p.m. – Four Bettys
Thursday, December 13, 2012 – Band/Blues bands at Midway

• 2 to 5 p.m. in baggage claim: Linsey Alexander Band
• 2 to 4 p.m. in food court Smokin Joe Thomas & Southside Joe

• Terminal 1 – The Elements of Sound
• Terminal 2 – Breezy & the Coolers
• Terminal 3 – Gray Matters
• Terminal 5 – Pat Smillie Band

• Terminal 1 on the lower level baggage claim area near Ciao’s concession;
• Terminal 2 past security next to Wicker Park Seafood and Sushi Bar;
• Terminal 3 past security near the entrance to Concourse L; and
• International Terminal 5 on the lower level meeter/greeter area.

At Midway, the stage is located in baggage claim next to the information booth.

The CDA’s “Music in the Air” entertainment is a year-round program, organized in conjunction with Chicago’s downtown festivals and holiday celebrations.
