Golf lovers rejoice with addition of PGA TOUR Grill to airport dining options
EL PASO, TX, 2016-Aug-16 — /Travel PR News/ — Enhanced dining options will soon welcome travelers at El Paso International Airport. Global restaurateur HMSHost was recently awarded a five-year lease extension valued at more than $47 million to continue operating the airport’s dining spaces through 2026.
Among the enhanced offerings coming to travelers of El Paso International Airport is the new PGA TOUR Grill that will include a dedicated to-go area, along with a remodeled Starbucks® store in Concourse B. At the airport’s Concourse A, travellers will find a Starbucks® store; additionally Home Team Sports will get expanded seating along with an enhanced menu from local El Paso favorite, Mesa Street Grill.
“HMSHost is excited to continue our partnership with El Paso International Airport to enhance the airport experience for their travelers with great food and drink options for many years to come,” said HMSHost Vice President of Business Development Stephen Douglas. “Specifically, the addition of PGA TOUR Grill adds an especially fun and enjoyable dining environment with great high-quality, healthy menu items that El Paso travelers will love.”
“EPIA is happy to have HMSHost bring new options to improve the experience for our passengers. The new PGA TOUR Grill is a perfect addition to the El Paso International Airport as it brings a new and refreshing menu. This new spot adds to the dining options for travelers that include Quiznos, Red Mango, and the popular, local favorite Mesa Street Grill menu featured at Home Team Sports,” said Monica Lombraña, Director of Aviation.
As a bold and innovative restaurant concept that promotes an active lifestyle through a menu full of health-focused dishes, PGA TOUR Grill will be a new type of dining experience for El Paso travelers. PGA TOUR Grill was developed by HMSHost in partnership with the PGA TOUR, combining the beloved sport of golf with great food, and celebrating the motto “Eat Smarter, Play Harder.”
The atmosphere is inspired by the PGA TOUR and highlights the rich history of golf. Guests will even find a mural displayed in the restaurant of El Paso International Airport’s Butterfield Trail Golf Club, a top ranked golf course located only a long iron shot from the airport. Golf fans traveling through the airport won’t miss any action while on the move because PGA TOUR Grill features numerous flat-screen TVs showing live tournament action, highlights from previous tournaments, and Golf Channel programming.
In addition to bringing PGA TOUR Grill, HMSHost will continue to offer existing traveler favorites at El Paso International Airport including Pizza Hut, Carlos and Mickey’s Mexican Restaurant, Red Mango Yogurt, and Burger King.
