Hilton Worldwide currently has more than 10,000 rooms among 51 hotels and resorts open and welcoming guests throughout Latin America. The following properties joined the portfolio during the last 12 months, adding more than 1,000 Hilton Worldwide rooms to Latin America:
The development pipeline in Latin America is also growing consistently with 10 new agreements signed in the last 12 months, bringing the robust pipeline to more than 20 confirmed projects and more than 3,000 rooms – a direct result of the company’s firm efforts and commitment in the region. Development plans include key cities and resort destinations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and Peru.
By the end of 2013, the company plans to continue expanding its presence throughout the region with the opening of 14 hotels and more than 2,000 rooms including:
