LONDON, 2013-02-19 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 has calculated some interesting facts based on welcoming 75,000 leisure and business guests since opening on 31 August 2011.
During this time 45,000 guests have stayed in the luxury hotel’s 350 bedrooms, which equates to 252,000 towels and 95,000 sheets being washed and prepared, 40 staff servicing and cleaning the rooms and 12,115 room service orders placed.
In addition to this, 55,000 delegates have used the hotel’s conference wing and business centre, with over 1,500 meetings hosted by the hotel.
From those dining in the hotel, The Gallery restaurant has taken orders for 2,500 steak burgers, 2,000 portions of fish and chips and 1,200 apple and pear crumbles making them among the most popular dishes. With menus based on seasonal produce and fresh ingredients, a total of 30 chefs and 50 waiting staff make sure the quality of food, presentation and service are all impeccable.
36,000 breakfasts have also been served to guests, who have each been able to choose from over 180 items on the menu, making it the largest breakfast menu on offer in the Heathrow area.
The figures also include some of the most popular drinks served at Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. 23,800 beers have been poured in the two restaurants, Gallery Bar and River Bar and 46,000 Musetti coffees have crafted by baristas in the Musetti Cafe, the brand’s only coffee shop outside of Italy.
