London, UK, 2021-Dec-20 — /Travel PR News/ — Heathrow is offering local residents the chance to get their all-important winter flu jabs for free. This season it’s more important than ever for people to look after themselves and their loved ones, and the public are being encouraged to take the seasonal flu vaccine, as well as COVID boosters.
To help this Heathrow are giving away nearly 2,000 free flu jab vouchers for anyone who wants to further protect themselves. Each voucher can be easily redeemed online and used in any Boots pharmacy.
To request a voucher please contact Heathrow’s Community Relations Team on communityrelations@heathrow.com or 0800 307 7996. The team will then provide a voucher and instructions on how to redeem and book a free appointment on the Boots website.
Becky Coffin, Communities and Sustainability Director, said: “We are pleased to be able to offer these all-important flu jab vouchers to local residents to Heathrow free of charge. There’s a lot of talk about making sure we take up our COVID boosters, but it’s also important not to forget the benefits of being defended against seasonal flu. Getting your flu jab is just another small thing we can all do to better protect ourselves and our local community this winter.”
The flu jab normally costs £15 with Boots. Heathrow’s free vouchers are valid until 31 January 2022.
