Heathrow Airport reports 5.4 million passengers in November 2013

  • 5.4 million passengers passed through Heathrow in November 2013, up 0.6% on the previous year
  • Seats per aircraft increased 1.5%, whilst load factors dropped 2.6 percentage points on last year, to 70.2%. Passengers per aircraft decreased 2.1% to 142.0
  • BRIC passengers were up by 5.5%, with China up 15.9%, India up 6.7% and Brazil up 4.5%

“Passenger numbers grew less strongly in November than in previous months. Nevertheless continued good performance to BRIC countries underlines the importance of direct flights to growing economies.”
