Hala Bahrain lounges at Bahrain International Airport seeks catering service provider

Muharraq, Bahrain, 2018-Mar-29 — /Travel PR News/ — As part of its efforts to develop its business operations and achieve its strategic objectives, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), issued a new public tender for catering services at Hala Bahrain lounges at BIA. Hala Bahrain is seeking a catering service provider with a proposal that represents the best value for the airport and its passengers, and is also capable of demonstrating a client-conscientious and customer service oriented approach.

BAC Chief Commercial Officer Ayman Zainal said: “With the completion of establishment procedures for Hala Bahrain last year and the launching of its airport lounge business operations this year at the BIA, BAC is seeking a strategic partner to help with our commitment to providing the highest quality hospitality services for passengers. Through this tender we seek to obtain a catering services provider capable of serving a range of local, Arab and international dishes and presenting them in a creative and high class manner at both the Arrivals and Departures lounges. We are looking for a company that will offer additional value and help us ensure a premium travel experience.”

The catering tender specifies an initial bond of BD2,500 with a 6-month validity. For more information, visit the Bahrain Tender Board website at www.tenderboard.gov.bh

Hala Bahrain is a subsidiary of BAC established in 2017. Its offerings will include car rental, taxi, and meet and greet services that will help passengers arriving in or departing from the Kingdom. The launch is in line with the objectives of the $1.1 billion Airport Modernisation Programme (AMP) and the strategy to enhance level of services and diversify the airport’s revenue streams through the creation of a wider range of commercial offerings.
