The Hotel will mark the 14th of July with exhilarating live music shows, pyrotechnic performances and an exciting gastronomic offering
Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat, France, 2021-Jul-08 — /Travel PR News/ — Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel will celebrate Bastille Day on the 14th of July with a tantalising culinary offering and live music performances at its three acclaimed dining establishments overseen by Michelin-starred Chef Yoric Tièche. Celebrating France’s rich heritage, the evening will exude an unforgettable festive atmosphere, with al fresco dining on the Hotel’s spectacular sea-facing terrace. The Chef’s cuisine pays tribute to French gastronomy, with bold flavour combinations and wholesome ingredients sourced from the Hotel’s vegetable garden and the best local producers.
At Le Cap, Chef Tièche draws inspiration from the traditional recipes of his home region, offering contemporary, sophisticated dishes that make the most of Provençal and Mediterranean produce. Grilled fish and seafood bring a burst of summer flavour to the chic La Veranda bistro, where diners can feast on the day’s catch on a series of terraces shaded by age-old aleppo pine trees. The Bar, with its laidback and convivial setting, offers contemporary Asian and South American dishes that are best enjoyed with the Hotel’s famous Garden Chic cocktails created by experienced bartender Frank Carcamo.
Complementing the excellent food and service is a strolling modern French band complete with saxophonist that creates a mellow and sophisticated ambience. The evening culminates in a dazzling pyrotechnic show enhanced by a live violinist performance, promising a truly spectacular night.
Guests wishing to celebrate Bastille Day in full privacy can do so in the secluded dining venue located in the lush sea-facing Jardin Volupté, which bursts with endemic Mediterranean flora and tropical plants. The space is dressed in the style of a guinguette, a convivial open-air cabaret-style restaurant that was popular in the 1920s. The setting exudes the character and charm of this much loved typical French establishment, with wooden chairs and a rustic table with a red and white chequered tablecloth. Adding to the soul and atmosphere of these bygone times is a live music performance by Ô de mon Chéri, whose tremendous voice accompanies toe-tapping jazz, swing, rhythm ‘n’ blues and chanson française from the 20s and 50s.
To kick off the evening is a signature aperitif, with canapés and Bollinger champagne. The exclusive dinner features a show cooking BBQ with fresh fish and seafood cooked in front of guests’ eyes, allowing diners can get up close and personal with the chef. The finale of the evening is a private pyrotechnic show that sees jets and spark fountains project glittering columns of silver and gold into the air.
