First-time celebration highlights holiday favourites with new executive chef at helm

Santa Fe, U.S.A. – 2012-10-16 — /travelprnews.com/ — Forge new holiday traditions with a Thanksgiving to remember at the new Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe. The Resort will feature a celebratory meal in Terra with all the trimmings, as well as special room rates and a variety of holiday activities for all guests.

Guests booking the Experience More package this season enjoy rates beginning at USD 267.00 a night over the Thanksgiving holiday. The package extends a USD 75.00 credit with every two paid consecutive nights. Foodies will delight in meals in Terra restaurant or cocktails in The Bar admiring the scenic views of the Jemez Mountains. Or, guests can book a treatment in the tranquil Spa, featuring a range of treatments, many inspired by the healing natural botanicals of the region.

Terra restaurant will offer a plated Thanksgiving feast from 12:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 22, 2012. New Executive Chef Andrew Cooper has crafted a holiday meal with the freshest seasonal ingredients, offering an authentic New Mexican twist on classic favourites. Guests can select their choice of holiday appetizer, including such favourites as butternut squash soup, seasonal organic green salad or trio of chilled seafood. Entrée selections include traditional turkey, prime rib, striped bass or locally raised venison loin. For dessert, a decadent buffet of options awaits, including holiday favourites such as berry cobbler, apple pie, pumpkin cheesecake and crème brûlée.

The cost is USD 68.00 for adults or USD 25.00 for children ages 5 to 12. Children 4 and under eat complimentary if staying at the Resort.

To enhance the festive atmosphere, guests can call upon the complimentary Fireplace Butler service, beginning November 15 and running through the winter season. Every spacious casita guest room is equipped with a wood-burning kiva fireplace. The Fireplace Butler will come to a guest’s room upon call, equipped with a burlap log holder stocked with fresh local pinon wood and lighting supplies. Guests may opt for a complimentary spiced cider or hot chocolate, or can choose to purchase an item to enhance the experience from a menu of specialty items including chocolate, cheese and after-dinner drinks.
