Germany’s second largest airline airberlin announced new GSA Partnership with World Aviation Group’s Aviation Online Ltd

Berlin, Germany, 2014-2-4 — /travelprnews.com/ — airberlin, Germany’s second largest airline, has retained Aviation Online Ltd, a subsidiary of World Aviation Group, to handle all sales and marketing activities in Malta for flights operated by airberlin and NIKI, the Austrian airline belonging to the airberlin group.

Norbert Draskovits, Senior Vice President Sales Scheduled Services at airberlin: “With our new partner Aviation Online we will further improve our position in Malta and aim to increase our sales in this market in the Mediterranean. During the summer months airberlin operates nonstop flights from Germany and Switzerland to Malta since several years now, and the new route from Vienna to Malta, which we will operate throughout the whole year, will start at the end of March.”

Attard, CEO of World Aviation Group. “We are certain that we will be able to increase the visibility of airberlin and NIKI, given the experience and industry knowledge of our office in Malta which is also handling all sales and marketing activities for Etihad Airways in Malta.”

In 2014, airberlin operates nonstop flights from Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Munich and Cologne to Malta every Sunday starting June 29. Between Basel and Malta, flights are available every Thursday and Sunday starting May 25. From Vienna, the inaugural flight departs on March 30, scheduled every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. All routes are operated throughout the summer schedule until the end of October 2014.
