FROM SHIP TO HOTEL – NEW “MEET & CRUISE” CONFERENCE CONCEPT

2012-12-13 — /travelprnews.com/ — The Steigenberger Hotel Group and the cruise operator A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH are launching a new “Meet & Cruise” concept for meetings and incentive trips. The programme makes it possible to book cruises on the Rhine, Main and Danube in combination with events at selected Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts and InterCityHotels. Since December 2012, conference groups of various sizes have enjoyed the convenience of being transported to meetings and congresses at Steigenberger Group Hotels on board one of A-ROSA’s premium ships. Excursions such as Segway tours in Amsterdam, river rafting and much more besides all add to the varied programme on offer. Conference guests are taken directly from the cruise ship jetties to the Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof, the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Düsseldorf, the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof in Wien, the Steigenberger Hotel and Spa in Krems, the Steigenberger Hotel Linz, the Steigenberger Grandhotel Petersberg in Königswinter, the InterCityHotel Mainz and to the Steigenberger Airport Hotel Amsterdam, where the meetings are held in the conference facilities which have been booked. Guests are then transported back to their ship, where modern facilities, a generously proportioned spa and gym area, a varied buffet concept featuring live cooking stations and an interesting programme of excursions are all available.
