Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara Brings the HydraFacial to the American Riviera

2013-01-24 — /travelprnews.com/ — New technology offers a ground-breaking skincare resurfacing solution with none of the usual drawbacks.

The Spa at Four SeasonsResort The Biltmore introduces the HydraFacial to Santa Barbara for the first time. This non-invasive, non-surgical skin resurfacing procedure combines spa therapies with medical technology to deliver maximum results for skin that’s glowing and healthy.

The 11-room oceanfront Spa, which was just named #1 Hotel Spa in the US by TripAdvisor, is known for a comprehensive menu of body and skincare treatments, along with its stunning Montecito setting and AAA Five Diamond service.

“The majority of our spa guests are concerned with ageing, and HydraFacial complements our current offering with an advanced approach to addressing those issues,” says Spa Director Jaana Roth. “It’s considered to be more effective than IPL when used regularly but has none of the discomfort or downtime, which is a major advantage.”

The HydraFacial is a soothing, moisturizing treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and hydration all while “vortex-fusing” antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, peptides and other essential nutrients into the skin. Effective for all skin types, the HydraFacial utilizes serums that specifically target skin issues including uneven skin tone, rosacea, fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores and oily or acne-prone skin. Because it leaves skin looking instantly radiant and refined with no recovery time, it can be performed before a night out or special occasion.

The Spa offers three HydraFacial options ranging from 25 to 80 minutes as well as a line of Daily Essentials products for the at-home regimen. Treatment options may include LED light therapy, lymphatic drainage, a glycolic peel or peptides, but guests can also choose to add these as enhancements. Roth recommends a series of five to seven monthly treatments for best results.
