Whether Mom finds her joy on sun-soaked beaches, relaxing at the spa, or on a thrilling adventure, Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo offers it all with curated itineraries
Costa Rica, 2022-Apr-08 — /Travel PR News/ — This spring, celebrate Mom with an immersive experience at Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica. The Resort has curated itineraries for every mom, from surfing lessons, transformative wellness workshops, cultural immersions, and interactive dinner experiences.
Curated Itineraries
Adventure seeking moms can start their day with the Awaken the Goddess Within, a yoga masterclass to connect with the divine or harness all that energy with a thrilling Surf X adventure. The in-house luxury surf outfitter gathers the best surf talent to provide dedicated lessons no matter the skill level. After a fun-filled morning, relax and unwind with a Tsuru (cacao) Ancestral Ritual a full-body scrub stimulating blood flow, followed by a pure cacao and banana leaves wrap. End the day with loved ones with a Garden Table dinner, an abundant family-style dinner in the chef’s private herb garden at Nemare.
Mom can live the pura vida life by reconnecting with herself and Mother Nature with an itinerary created for total Zen. Start the day with breathwork, meditation and sound healing session at Virador Beach with wellness ambassador Jose Pablo Rodriguez. Stop by the Juice Bar in Bahia for a ginger and green smoothie and settle into a Koyomo Ritual at the Spa. This aromatherapy massage starts with a foot cleaning followed by a full body massage using house-made organic essential oils that will guide guests into deep relaxation. Following a morning of Zen, reenergize with the Magical Mangrove tour, a gentle paddle through the Peninsula Papagayo’s Palmares section in an outrigger canoe. Reunite with family at Pesce, for Italian coastal cuisine overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Cultural Immersions
“Costa Rica is wonderful playground for families where ecology and culture intersect,” says Lucas Medeiros, Chef Concierge. “With local experiences such as Chorotega ceramic painting classes within our Resort and day trips to the nearby rainforest, our guests are making positive impacts on the local community.”
Guanacaste is home for the ancestral Chorotega tribe, one of the most powerful Indigenous tribes in Central America during the conquest. In partnership with a Chorotega artisan Jose Salomón Villafuerte Grijalba, the Resort will highlight the beauty and artistry of handcrafted Chorotega pottery. Guests can learn about the ancient process of creating clay and dyes from natural elements and pottery painting techniques from Villafuerte Grijalba. Guests walk away with a custom made and personally painted Chorotega clay pot. Classes are available by contacting the concierge desk.
Experience a day in the rainforest in the Bijagua district and discover this rural region of Costa Rica. Guests can glide down the turquoise blue water of Rio Celeste, walk across hanging bridges, and ride horses along one of the lushest regions in the country.
