Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo appoints Roger Perez as Director of Food and Beverage

Costa Rica, 2016-Nov-01 — /Travel PR News/ — Seasoned hospitality veteran and Mexico native Roger Perez has been appointed as Director of Food and Beverage for Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo.

Prior to joining Four Seasons Resort Costa Rica, Perez held operational positions with Starwood, Accor and Princess Cruises in exotic locales including Jakarta, Bali, Hong Kong, Philippines, Switzerland and Turks and Caicos to name a few.

Ever the culinary aficionado, Perez  – who holds a Masters Degree in Hospitality from Cornell University – began his career in the kitchen as an executive chef where he developed his strong leadership skills.

His arrival to Costa Rica comes after his five-year stint in Asia working with Century Park Hotel in Jakarta and Atanaya Hotel in Bali. He looks forward to combining his experiences and refined palate to the pura vida lifestyle. “I am thrilled to join the Four Seasons family at this amazing property,” shares Perez, who is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Indonesian and Filipino. “With the wonderful team we have at the Resort I look forward to giving our guests here in Costa Rica a sense of place paired with an experience they will not soon forget.”

Perez’s love for gastronomy began early on during his childhood in Mexico City, where food and drinks were the centerpiece of every celebration. At the age of 16, he moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where the celebration of food continued. Today, 16 countries and 4 continents later, his love for food continues.
