(NEWS) COSTA RICA, 2026-Jan-06 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo has revealed its lineup of Visiting Wellness Practitioners for 2026, continuing a program that has become a defining element of the resort’s guest experience. Now entering its third year, the initiative brings together an international collective of healers, movement specialists, and holistic guides for immersive residencies focused on restoration, creativity, and personal connection.
Based on details shared in the resort’s official announcement, the 2026 program places a renewed emphasis on the intersection of wellness and creative expression. Alongside established practices such as yoga, sound healing, breathwork, and mobility training, visiting practitioners are encouraged to weave artistic elements into their sessions, from journaling and mandala work to music and painting. The approach reflects a broader shift in wellness travel toward experiences that support both physical wellbeing and emotional self-expression.
At the center of the program is the resort’s Wellness Shala, a purpose-built space introduced in 2023 that has since become the heart of wellness activity at Peninsula Papagayo. Designed with natural materials and open to the surrounding landscape, the Shala functions as both a movement studio and a creative sanctuary, where guests can engage in practices that blend breath, sound, movement, and mindfulness in a nature-immersed setting.
The 2026 calendar features a rotating schedule of visiting practitioners throughout the year. January welcomes sound healer Harriette Emily, whose work combines crystal bowls, vocal tones, and cacao rituals. February sees therapeutic yoga specialist Sarah Garden, known for her science-based approach to chronic pain and mobility. In March, sound and breathwork practitioner Daniel Byrne brings immersive soundscapes rooted in harmonic resonance, followed in April by transformational yoga and energy guide Sean Patrick.
Movement-focused programming continues in May with fitness and mobility expert Melissa Sfredda, while June introduces sound technologist George Hammond, whose work explores the meeting point of technology and meditative sound therapy. Creative transformation takes center stage in July with holistic artists Marianna Jacobs and Richard Jacobs, before the program resumes in November with energy medicine practitioner Dr. Ondre. The year concludes in December with Rebel and Muse, the husband-and-wife team blending yoga, live music, and breathwork.
Together, the 2026 Visiting Wellness Practitioners program reinforces Peninsula Papagayo’s positioning as a destination for immersive, experience-led wellness travel, where creativity, nature, and holistic wellbeing are designed to coexist as part of a longer, more intentional guest journey.
