Four Seasons Hotels in Egypt Team Up as Bronze Sponsor in 3rd Terry Fox Run to Support Cancer Research at 57357 Cancer Hospital

November 17 event took place at the American University Cairo

Cairo at The First Residence, Egypt – 2012-11-22 — /travelprnews.com/ — Four Seasons Hotels in Egypt once again embraced the spirit at the 3rd Terry Run organized annually by the Children’s Cancer Hospital. This year’s Marathon of Hope on November 17, 2012 was under the auspices of the Canadian Embassy and in collaboration with the European Union and AUC (American University Cairo), with proceeds benefiting cancer research at the Cancer Hospital 57357.

Four Seasons Hotels Egypt participated as bronze sponsors at this noteworthy cause, with a committed and devoted group of more than 50 Four Seasons employees from Alexandria, Sharm El Sheikh and two properties in Cairo joining the 4 kilometre run around the AUC premises. In line with Terry Fox Foundation regulations, the event is supported entirely through sponsorship and donations.

The Marathon of Hope Continues

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has a strong commitment to advancing of cancer research, and much of the company’s devotion to this important cause stems from Terry Fox’s 1980 Marathon of Hope. Terry inspired Canadians to action before succumbing to the disease the following year. To date, more than CAD 600 million has been raised worldwide for cancer research in Terry’s name through the annual Terry Fox Runs held across Canada and around the world.
