Washington, DC, U.S.A., 2022-Mar-23 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC transforms from a chic, alpine getaway into a sumptuous, flourishing, “Sakura Blossom Spring” celebrating Haru Matsuri, the annual spring festival in Japan that signifies a new beginning. Guests are invited to indulge their taste buds with a wagyu beef and Japanese whiskey trio tasting at BOURBON STEAK or sample housemade yakitori and sushi at the legendary Sunday Brunch at Seasons. The Spa features a Green Tea Detox body scrub treatment to revitalize the spirit. Endless discovery awaits at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC.
“We are thrilled to commemorate new beginnings at Four Seasons Hotel Washington, DC inspired by the natural beauty of our city in spring and by our colleagues at Four Seasons in Kyoto,” says Regional Vice President and General Manager Marc Bromley. “Through the craftsmanship of our team – our chefs, bartenders, concierge, housekeepers, spa technicians and so many more – we look forward creating renewed connections with our guests.”
The iconic cherry trees that adorn DC were a gift from the people of Japan in 1912. Discover DC at its most photogenic during the Cherry Blossom Festival March 20 to April 17, 2022 when the city comes alive against a backdrop of soft pink. The blossoming continues inside the Hotel, where the character of Haru Matsuri is reflected in a unique way.
Wagyu and Whiskey at BOURBON STEAK

The Akashi Single Malt Whisky, Ichiro’s Malt & Grain and Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt whiskey are each are rendered sublime accompanying the Wagyu.
Lead Bartender Engidawork Alebachew has created a mesmerizing cocktail list of refreshing inspired elixirs for spring. The UPS ONLY made with Kyoto dry gin, sake vermouth, yuzu, orgeat and lime is bright and citrusy with a kick. The KINTSUGI, made with Suntory Toki, Campari, lemon, grapefruit and raspberry chamomile syrup features a vibrant hot pink colour and spirit-forward flavour that is refreshing and bold. No one will be able to resist a serving of Chef Curtis’ Tokyo Tots: handmade crispy potato tots with Kewpie mayo, okonomiyaki sauce, nori furikake, salmon roe and bonito flakes as the perfect bar snack.

Zen Spa
At the Forbes 4-Star Spa, relaxation takes on a deeper meaning with two new treatments. The Green Tea Detox Ritual stimulates the circulation and lymphatic system with a dry brush exfoliation, followed by a massage application of green tea whipped shea butter. Guests are then treated to a deeply relaxing Four Seasons custom massage to allow the nutrients to fully absorb. This treatment leaves skin dewy, invigorated, and glowing.
The Cherry Blossom Facial naturally rejuvenates and revitalizes skin with a natural cherry enzyme peel by sustainable beauty brand Naturopathica, delivering visible results including smoother, hydrated skin. Enhancing this facial with the traditional gua sha stone from Baldona and a Four Seasons customized facial oil to regenerate collagen and improve lymphatic circulation leaves a deliciously refreshed and renewed feeling.
Afterwards, guests can take advantage of the steam room, sauna and whirlpool, or simply lounge while sipping on a selection of Japanese teas. Designer Ron David unveils his spring collection at The Spa Boutique where one can find one-of-a-kind pieces hand-picked for the Four Seasons guest.
