Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills appoints Joseph Ramaglia as Culina’s new General Manager

Ramaglia will leverage his experience working with Chef Mette to carry on the esteemed reputation of the modern Italian restaurant in LA.

2013-04-18 — /travelprnews.com/ — Culina, Modern Italian at Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills announces Joseph Ramaglia as the restaurant’s newly appointed General Manager. Ramaglia joins Culina from his previous position as general manager at Areal Restaurant in Santa Monica.

The New Jersey native was exposed to the hospitality industry at an early age, having been raised in an Italian-American family owning two Italian restaurants. Ramaglia attended culinary school at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island to expand his culinary knowledge and to fully understand the inner workings of a restaurant kitchen. To broaden his experience, Ramaglia moved to New York City and worked the front of house at several of the city’s most prestigious nightlife venues. In 2006, Ramaglia moved to Los Angeles and used his diverse background to work managerial positions at exclusive establishments such as Cecconi’s, Soho House and Areal. While food knowledge and quality will always hold strong importance, the reemergence of the post prohibition cocktail era and craft beer movement has motivated Ramaglia to strive to produce the best, fresh, farmer’s market libations southern California has to offer.
