Four Seasons Hotel Houston Unveils Winter Activities and Experiences Program: Named #1 Hotel in Houston and #19 in the World

Robust programming throughout the season offers guests and locals an abundance of experiences at Houston’s downtown destination

Houston, U.S.A., 2023-Jan-11 — /Travel PR News/ — In welcoming the new year, Four Seasons Hotel Houston recently named the #1 hotel in Houston and the #19 hotel in the world by Condé Nast Traveler, introduces its program of winter activities and experiences.”We are thrilled to welcome in 2023 with our visiting guests and fellow Houstonians,” says Tom Segesta, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Houston. “We’ve put together a robust offering of experiences for everyone to enjoy throughout the winter season which promises to be another great one here in H-Town.”

The Hotel’s seasonal special events in 2023 include:

  • January 1 – 31 – Guests are invited to kick off the New Year by getting back in the game all month long with the Get Back in the Game Package. Featuring the Hotel’s exclusive fitness partner POWA, this wellness-inspired stay includes nightly accommodations, a private fitness class, a custom massage at The Spa, a zero-proof cocktail at Bayou & Bottle, and in-room fitness and wellness amenities for guests to use during their stay.
  • January 1 – 31 – Those celebrating Dry January are invited to toast with one of three specialty mocktails (Faux Old Fashioned, Nojito, or The Ranch Hand) at Bayou & Bottle and Toro Toro. Created by Beverage Manager Johnathan Jones, these zero-proof cocktails are priced at USD 12 each.
  • January 11 – Bandista will play host to an exclusive bar pop-up, featuring one of the country’s best bars. Jewel of the South, the heralded bar and restaurant in New Orleans will pop-up at Bandista from 5:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, featuring James Beard Award winner, bartender, and co-owner Chris Hannah. Jewel of the South was named Best US Restaurant Bar of the Year, while Hannah won US Bartender of the Year at the 2022 Tales of the Cocktail conference. Jewel of the South was also named the #24 Bar in North America’s 50 Best Bars. The Jewel pop-up will feature four house cocktails and one collaboration cocktail. Reservations are required for this event, which benefits Camp H-Town. Additionally, Bandista will pop-up in New Orleans at Jewel of the South on Sunday, January 15 from 5:00 to 11:00 pm. Highlighting the talents of the acclaimed speakeasy bar and lounge’s bartenders Alanna Svay and Sean Curtis, the Bandista pop-up will feature four house cocktails and one collaboration cocktail. Reservations are required for this event, benefitting Turning Tables.
  • January 15 – As the prime viewing location for the Chevron Houston Marathon, guests of Four Seasons and spectators are invited to visit the Hotel’s Bayou & Bean Bistro Pop-Up. Opening at 5:00 am on race day, the pop-up will offer specialty coffees and teas, breakfast tacos, donuts, pastries, and juices from Bayou & Bean, as well as dog treats and water bowls for four-legged friends.
  • January 27, 28; February 10, 11, 24, 25; March 24, 25 – Delight the senses at Ben Jackson’s live one-man show Magic, Music & Mayhem. This one-of-a-kind performance breathes new life into the ancient art by showcasing magic’s vitality in a truly immersive, close-up experience. Tickets from USD 55.
  • February 9 -14 – Toro Toro invites those celebrating romance in for a memorable Valentine’s Dinner, featuring a selection of optional enhancements (such as lobster tails, caviar, truffles, and foie gras) to the popular dinner menu. Additionally, guests will receive a sparkling welcome cocktail, and enjoy live musical entertainment on February 14. Available from 5:30 to 10:00 pm on February 9, 12, 13, and 14 and until 11:00 pm February 10 and 11, Valentine’s Dinner requires reservations. Guests may also enjoy the Hotel’s Romance Package, which includes a welcome bottle of Champagne and strawberries, as well as breakfast for two through In-Room Dining.
  • February 12 – Gather at Bayou & Bottle for an upscale Sunday Showdown, where the best of the best will battle it out for the football championship. From 4:00 to 9:00 pm, guests can enjoy Kobe Sliders, Lobster Nachos, Fries Three Ways (white truffle, black truffle, duck fat-fried), and specialty team-themed cocktails while watching the Big Game on big-screen televisions. Fans wearing jerseys of the winning team will be treated to a molecular Jello shot at the end of the game. Reservations are recommended. The Topgolf Swing Suites can also be reserved for private use by larger parties.

Four Seasons Hotel Houston is also offering these season-long offerings:

  • Weekend Brunch – Bayou & Bottle, the City’s best place for catching a game over flavourful cuisine inspired by Houston’s melting pot of cultures, is now serving Weekend Brunch. Available Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, the menu, created by Chef Godstime Ebeagbor, features big flavours in dishes such as Southern-Style Shrimp & Grits with maple pork belly and cioppino; Chef GT’s Fluffy Pancake with lemon-whipped cream, bourbon-maple syrup , and berries; Chicken Fried Steak with housemade biscuit and country gravy; and the Must Have Texas Pecan Sticky Bun, with caramel and choice of ice cream.
  • Latin Live at Toro Toro – Beginning January 24, Toro Toro will feature live Latin musical entertainment each Tuesday from 5:30 to 9:30 pm. Alongside the music, guests will delight in Executive Chef Rafael Villalpando’s menu, offering a twist on the contemporary steakhouse experience with pan-Latin influences and Asian dishes, and featured tequila specials. Reservations are recommended.
  • Warming Winter Wednesdays – Now open Wednesdays, Bandista, the Hotel’s speakeasy bar and lounge, is the perfect place to tuck into and enjoy a midweek cocktail, artistically-crafted by the city’s best bartenders. Reservations are required at Bandista, which is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 pm until 12:00 midnight.
  • Pampering Season – Nothing celebrates romance like Night Spa – an exclusive evening experience at The Spa. Allowing guests private use of the entire Spa from 7:00 to 10:00 pm, Night Spa begins with 100 minutes of pampering with a Soothing Sugar Kiss Body Scrub, followed by a customized massage infused with rose, citrus and vanilla. From there, guests can explore and luxuriate throughout the Spa, then enjoy a delectable sampling of specialty dishes and desserts from Toro Toro and a bottle of Champagne in the tranquil reception room. Luxurious Four Seasons bathrobes are gifted as a remembrance of this most special experience, which is priced at USD 2,500.
  • Beats in Bayou – Friday nights bring the energy at Bayou & Bottle from 8:00 pm until 12:00 midnight with a live performance by local BELLOSOUND DJs, mouth-watering cocktails and delectable cuisine.
  • Limited Edition Scent – In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Krigler is introducing a limited edition release of its Eleganter Schwan 06 Edition Intense perfume. This fragrance, priced at USD 1,215, exhibits floral German rose accent combined with a warm sandalwood note, inspired by the gardens of the romantic and iconic Neuschwanstein Castle in Munich, Bavaria.
  • Burger Wednesdays – Indulge in Bayou & Bottle’s famous Brisket Burger for just USD 6 or kick it up with Chef Godstime Ebeagbor’s Kicked-Up version for USD 15 Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
  • “Suviche” Making Class – Join Cho, the Toro Toro “Suviche” Chef for a personalized sushi and ceviche making class, where guests will learn (and taste) the expert art of making these delectable favourites. Available Tuesday through Saturday, this private experience starts at USD 200 per person and includes hand-rolled sushi, ceviche, and sake.
  • Topgolf Happy Hour – Guests of the Hotel’s Topgolf Swing Suites are invited to make the most of their virtual sporting experience with a special happy hour offering. Available daily from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, this menu features Bayou & Bottle favourites such as Bourbon-Maple Glazed Chicken Wings, Loaded Carnitas Nachos, Drunken Pulled Pork BBQ Sliders, and Blue Point Oysters.
  • Mixology Class – With this expert-led private experience, groups up to 12 guests will be led through a creative and interactive mixology class by one of the Hotel’s talented bartenders.   • Old Fashioned Welcome – In-house guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary tasting of Bayou & Bottle’s signature Dr. Pepper Old Fashioned, guided by one of the Hotel’s Certified Bourbon Stewards. This guided tasting takes place each Friday between 2:00 and 4:00 pm adjacent to the reception desk.
  • Bourbon Tasting Experience – Dive deep into the world of “America’s spirit” during a private bourbon tasting at Bayou & Bottle. Led by one of the bar’s Certified Bourbon Stewards, guests are guided through a curated tasting from a selection of more than 200 whiskies. This one-hour tasting is customizable and is priced from USD 100 per person.
