Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou’s general manager Bahram Sepahi became the General Manager of the Year at The Hotelier Awards China in Shanghai

Guangzhou, China, 2015-1-12 — /Travel PR News/ — The Hotelier Awards China was held on December 11, 2014 where Bahram Sepahi of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou was among the 16 hoteliers to take home one of the accolades. The ceremony, which honours the dedicated professionals of the hotel industry, took place in Shanghai.

More than 300 hoteliers and industry professionals gathered as they watched Bahram receive the General Manager of the Year award. Bahram noted that “We in the hotel business are not wired to self-recognize. To receive this award and have such a celebrity-oriented treatment is really touching.”

Beginning his career with Four Seasons in 1986, Bahram has become a respected leader, relentlessly seeking ways to improve the welfare of his employees. He arrived in China in 2009 and successfully opened Four SeasonsHotel Guangzhou in 2012. As General Manager and Regional Vice President, Bahram has led the Hotel team to deliver impressive financial results and record high revenue.

This inaugural year, the Hotelier Awards received close to 300 applications from more than 100 properties from 44 different brands. Winners of each category were decided by a panel of independent experts through a two-round process and based on a combination of facts presented in the application, interviews, and testimonials.
