Art-inspired afternoons in Bahrain’s iconic beach resort sets the tone for a colourful autumn

Bahrain Bay, Bahrain, 2018-Sep-18 — /Travel PR News/ — Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay invites guests to find their hidden talent during a series of monthly inspirational art classes hosted in Bay View Lounge.

A soaring architectural statement rising on its own private island in the heart of the kingdom, this piece of art by its own right is the perfect spot for inspiring art sessions. With more than 3,500 artworks distributed around the property, two-thirds of these created by local Bahraini artists, the Hotel aims to play host to one-of-a-kind studio sessions to help guests awakening their inner artist while enjoying breathtaking views of the Manama skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The unique Four Seasons Art at the Bay program came to life in collaboration with ARTDIVANO Concept Gallery, a local establishment that has been providing unique services for art lovers in the region for more than ten years. Guests may spend a full afternoon learning exclusive tips and tricks through the teachings of a local artist in the privacy of the Royal Majlis – Bay View Lounge conveniently located in the Hotel lobby. “Innovation is what Four Seasons has always been known for. We aim to introduce new offerings all year long for our valued guests, which connect them to the destination and the Bahraini people through Four Seasons eyes,” says Vincent Chasseignaux, Director of Food and Beverage.

The Art at the Bay classes will focus on how to recreate paintings by the world’s most prestigious artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet and Gustav Klimt. Guests will learn special painting techniques on a 50 x 50 centimetre (20 x 20 inch) canvas using acrylic colours. During the interactive classes, guests may savour carefully crafted canapes and a selection of beverages prepared by Executive Chef Hyung Gyu Kim.

Saturdays from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Royal Majlis – Bay View Lounge:

• October 6, Vincent Van Gogh – Wheatfield with Crows
• November 3, Claude Monet – Water Lilies
• December 1, Gustav Klimt – Lady with Hat

Classes are priced at BHD 36 net per person including canapes and beverages.
