Four Seasons Hotel Austin unveils full list of spring activities and pop-ups

Austin, U.S.A, 2022-Mar-02 — /Travel PR News/ — Spring in Austin offers visitors a feast for the senses, from the rustle of a gentle Texas breeze and the beauty of a field of bluebonnets to the rhythmic laps of water along Lady Bird Lake’s shore. This year, in addition to nature’s delights, guests can immerse themselves in the best of the city – and the season – with a variety of bee and wildflower inspired pop-ups and promotions taking place at Four Seasons Hotel Austin.

Hotel in Spring Bloom

Visitors arriving at the downtown Austin Hotel will immediately step into a garden oasis thanks to an abundant display of fresh flowers in the centre of the Lobby, curated by well-known Austin florist Coby Neal and changed weekly. Starting March 10, 2022, an Instagram-worthy floral installation, overflowing with colourful wildflowers, will also provide a bright backdrop for spring photo opportunities.

Wildflower Spa Treatments

Infused with a veritable garden of floral essences, the new Wildflower Child Massage wraps spa-goers in peace, love and the inherent optimism of spring. The 80-minute experience starts with a light-to-medium pressure massage featuring sunflower seed oil and a custom blend of essential oils. Next, the Hotel’s expert therapists ensure feet are ready to step into sandal season with a lavender-infused foot scrub, followed by a moisturizing sunflower honey butter foot massage. As the perfect finish to this relaxing treatment, guests enjoy a complimentary glass of rosé, garnished with edible flowers, after their massage.

Guests looking for a dramatic metamorphosis can opt for the Butterfly Garden Facial, a botanical-filled facial that utilizes powerful products from Rawceuticals, EmerginC and Scientific Organics. First, an exfoliating mask removes dead winter skin cells, allowing for the application of a moisturizing orchid stem cell serum to penetrate more fully. A butterfly bush moisturizer rich in antioxidants is applied last, helping to provide long-lasting protection from common skin stressors. This treatment also includes a complimentary glass of rosé with edible flowers.

Available March 1 through April 30, 2022 in The Spa, the treatments are USD 260 each and may be booked by calling 512 685 8160.

Bee-Spoke Cocktails

Wildflowers wouldn’t be possible without bees, so Ciclo and Live Oak are paying homage to the buzzy insects with several new cocktails starting March 22, 2022. The spicy Bee-cante, available in both the restaurant and lounge, mixes Patrón Reposado tequila and Chartreuse with raspberry purée, lemon, lime and a house-made ginger and red pepper-infused simple syrup.

“For this cocktail, I was inspired by local honey, spice and the flavours that embody Austin,” says Matt Foster, bartender at Live Oak and the creator of the Bee-cante. “By making tequila the base spirit, I hoped to recognize bees’ contribution to the cocktail industry as they are integral to the pollination of agave and the sustainability of Patrón’s distilleries.”

Rounding out the bee-inspired drinks available in Ciclo are a Honey-Lavender Margarita and The Queen Bee, a bourbon and sherry concoction made with thyme-honey syrup, lemon juice and Angostura bitters. All three cocktails will be available through April 24, 2022, and pricing starts at USD 19 each.

Viva Abejas! (“Long Live the Bees”) Menu

Ciclo will also honor the significance of bees to the food cycle, on which we all depend, with a Viva Abejas! menu of special dinner dishes, available March 23 through April 24, 2022. Each of the featured items incorporates products that depend on bees, from the acacia honey in the Farro-Coconut Risotto appetizer to the honeycomb ice cream and edible flowers that accompany a Honey Panna Cotta dessert.
