Sustainable food, biodynamic wines and candlelight on the evening’s menu.

2013-03-05 — /travelprnews.com/ — Hundreds of candles, moonlight and dessert en flambé are just a few of the items on the menu for this month’s Earth Hour Candlelight Dinner at Four Seasons Hotel Austin.

Taking place Saturday, March 23, 2013 in TRIO, the event coincides with Earth Hour celebrations around the world, during which millions of people and businesses turn out non-essential lights to help raise awareness for and take a stand against climate change.

Locally, TRIO will participate by turning out the restaurant’s lights from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. In addition to the special ambiance, TRIO will offer a USD 49.00 prix-fixe menu featuring local, sustainable dishes including Gulf fish, chicken from Dewberry Farm and a pork chop from Richardson Farms. In keeping with the theme, Executive Pastry Chef Javier Franco has also created a Baked Alaska dessert that will impress diners while at the same time naturally illuminating the dining room.

The three-course Earth Hour Dinner Menu may also be paired with bio-dynamic and sustainable wines – all hand-selected by Sommelier Mark Sayre – for an additional USD 21.00 per person.

To make an Earth Hour Candlelight Dinner reservation, call TRIO at 512 685 8300.
