Hilton Hawaiian Village Event to Feature Lavish Holiday Buffet, Door Prizes, Entertainment

Following on the heels of the successful inaugural gala in 2011, this second annual event on Friday, December 14 promises to be an afternoon filled with delightful surprises and memories.

Festivities will start at 11 a.m. in the Tapa Ballroom with a lavish buffet featuring an array of salads, entrees, sides and desserts. Celebrants will enjoy such favorites as Asian chicken salad; Korean spiced tako and mussels; fish poke; Kona kampachi; slow poached shoyu chicken; grilled hoisin pork ribs; pork yakisoba and assorted dim sum, as well as chef-carved smoked prime rib of beef. The desserts will be an experience of their own, with a s’more bar with strawberries, bananas, marshmallows and crushed graham crackers; warm island malasadas; cheesecake with fruit toppings and sauces; butter and red bean mocha, baked pineapple bread pudding; pumpkin chiffon cake and assorted holiday cookies. Coffee, decaffeinated coffee and tea are also included in the $55 per person price.

Featured entertainment will include Manoa DNA, Aidan James, Henry Kapono and comedian/emcee Greg Hammer. Fabulous door prizes will be given out throughout the party -hotel stays, dinner certificates and more.
