MADRID, 2015-1-12 — /Travel PR News/ — Iberia Group airlines were the most punctual in the world in December 2014, with 91.38% of its 13.676 flights departing on time, according to Flightstats.
The commercial aviation consulting firm reported that Iberia was the most punctual airline in the world in the months of June, August, October and December of 2014. Iberia Express unit was the most punctual in the world among low cost carriers and also in Europe.
Since April 2013, Iberia’s punctuality has remained above 87%, one of the best performances by any airline. Iberia Express was Europe’s most punctual airline in the entire first half of 2014 with a 95% on-time rating.
The improvement to punctuality reflects Iberia employees’ commitment to increase the efficiency and quality of all aspects of the customer experience, and by changes to the flight programme and streamlining of all pre-flight operations.
