2012-11-15 — /travelprnews.com/ — Starting from Wednesday, 14 November, 10 pm, there may be errors in the details of departures and arrivals. The disruptions will be fixed by Thursday evening (15 November).
This only applies to provincial airports. Helsinki Airport’s flight details are up to date and shown as usual.
Possible errors and disruptions are caused by the ICAO implementing changes to the content and format of the flight plan form (FPL).
The changes will take effect globally on 15 November 2012, at 0000 UTC. Finland will change its flight plan requirements on 15 November 2012, 0000 UTC, and only the new format and content will be approved.
The new form is available at the Finavia website.
Finavia will implement the change during the night for minimum inconvenience to passengers and other customers who use airports’ flight details.
When necessary, you can check the flight details of departures and arrivals at the airports’ information booths during their opening times.
