First Domestic Flight takes off from Abu Dhabi International Airport

Rotana Jet inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, 2012-09-24 — /travelprnews.com/ — Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) witnessed today the first domestic flight in the UAE as Rotana Jet flight took off from Abu Dhabi International Airport flying to Fujairah International Airport at 10:00 am this morning.

This inaugural flight comes at the back of the announcement made last week on the launch of double daily services to Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah from Abu Dhabi International Airport, in an initiative from Rotana Jet to extend International airport and Fujairah.  Double Daily Flights to Al Ain will commence on the 26th September 2012 and flights to Sharjah will follow.  These routes will be operated by Embraer ERJ145 aircraft with 50 seats and comfortable 31” seat pitch.

The flights to and from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah can be  booked either through the website www.rotanajet.com or through the call center by calling  +971 (2) 444 000 2 or through the travel agents. Alternatively, passengers can check the airport website for flights’ schedules and updates on www.abudhabiairport.ae
