Finavia to open Helsinki Airport’s renewed Terminal 2 on 1 December
Vantaa, Finland, 2021-Dec-01 — /Travel PR News/ — Finavia will open Helsinki Airport’s renewed Terminal 2 on 1 December. Terminal 2 has stunning departures and arrivals halls and a modern parking hall. The traffic arrangements of Terminal 2 will also be updated at the same time. The services of Terminal 1 will remain unchanged for now.
“We are happy to be able to present these new and beautiful facilities to passengers. The extension of Terminal 2 has already received numerous awards, and we hope that it will make travel even smoother and more straightforward,” says Ulla Lettijeff, Finavia’s Helsinki Airport Executive Director.
The traffic arrangements at Helsinki Airport are becoming easier and more permanent from 1 December 2021, when cars and taxis can be driven in front of the main doors to drop off passengers.
A new parking hall, bus station and taxi station have been completed next to Terminal 2. Walking distances will be shorter and passengers can reach every place without needing to go outside. There is also a new bicycle parking area.
