Nadi, Fiji, 2018-May-08 — /Travel PR News/ — Fiji Airways, Fiji’s National Airline, has announced it will trial cashless transactions only, at Wellington International Airport and Christchurch International Airport.
Starting from Thursday May 10th 2018, the airline will no longer accept cash transactions for airport desk transactions including new ticket purchase, Business Class upgrades, lounge access, Extra Leg Room seats, Up Front seats, Quiet Zone and excess or oversized baggage fees. Instead Fiji Airways teams at Wellington and Christchurch Airports will accept all major international credit and debit cards or New Zealand EFTPOS cards for these payments.
Fiji Airways currently operates 15 flights a week between New Zealand and Fiji, which includes three weekly services between Christchurch and Nadi, (flight time of under four hours). In addition, it’s an easy, convenient one-stop flight to Los Angeles, San Francisco and Singapore. It is the only airline to offer child discounted airfares as well as a daily business class travel option directly from New Zealand to Fiji.
